Flu Vaccinations

Due to the high number of people eligible for the flu vaccination this year we are doing the clinics over multiple days. These are not walk in clinics and you must not just turn up.

The following groups will receive a letter inviting them to one of these clinics:

  • over 65s
  • 18 - 65 year olds with certain long-term medical conditions such as asthma and diabetes
  • 18 - 65 year olds who are at high risk regarding COVID-19

The following groups will not receive a letter inviting them to the clinics and will instead need to book an appointment - these appointments will be available from 1st October:

  • healthcare workers and carers
  • pregnant women
  • people living in the same house as someone high risk
  • children between 2 - 18 that are high risk

People aged 50 - 64 are also entitled to the flu vaccination this year but will this be subject to availability and will be contacted at a later date.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Coronavirus Advice

Please see information on the Somerset Coronavirus Helpline.

We are asking our patients and their representatives only to attend the surgery if you:

  • Need to collect medication
  • You have been asked to attend by your Doctor or Nurse

If you wish to make an appointment please phone 01460 55300. You will be asked for a reason for your appointment and either a Doctor or Nurse will call you back if appropriate.

The reception team have been trained to give advice concerning your appointment.

Patients must currently wear a mask or face covering when attending their appointment. If you do not have one available, reception have masks that they can provide on arrival. See further information regarding this.

To order medication please put your repeat slip in the letter box on the outside of the building or phone the prescription line 01460 55511

Only enter the building to collect your medication.

Please be aware that this is an ongoing situation and advice may change.

We appreciate your co-operation during these difficult times.
